Subliem van de Wellington: Randel Z x Avontuur x Furioso
Subliem has proved her quality as a broodmare more than once.
Her son Future van het Napoleonhof (Non Stop x Randel Z) is nowadays favourable under R. Vermeulen. Her son Gentleman van het Napoleonhof (Darco x Randel Z) is at present the property of M. Spaas and is becoming a good performer as well.
The father of Subliem, Randel Z, is the son of Ramiro, who is a top supplier of sporthorses worldwide. Ramiro and his mother Valine performed internationally in the jumping sports. Valine is a daughter of the famous Cottage Son xx. Randel Z is a great-grandson of Ramzes x, who laid the foundations of all modern German jumping- and dressage breeding.
The mother of Randel Z is Alaric Z. She is a daughter of the Norman stallion Almé. Alaric Z won multiple S-courses and earned a place of honour at the European Junior Championships with the Swedish rider Arnold Askinson.
Randel Z, who always passes his dark colour to his children, was in sports itself not without merit. In 1989, he perfectly ran 10 out of 12 courses in the classic cycle for five-year-olds, good for a fifth place in ranking. In the same year he became fourth in the finals of the Belgian Championship in Gesves. Two years later, he won the finals of the six- and seven-year-old horses in Bavikhove and the stallion section of the Jumping in Mechelen. Afterwards he moved for a year to the stable of Ludo Philippaerts. In that short period he won on Belgian competitions with Ludo or with Danny Verheyen more than a hundred thousand Belgian francs. More than 10 years ago, this prize was a considerable amount in the national Belgium competition. Randel Z also won as six-year-old in Gesves. Nowadays we can say that Randel Z bequeaths very well. Especially as a mare-maker he has left his mark, with a remarkable versatility for jumping and dressage. Randel Z has also produced multiple stallions: Investment in the KWPN (now in the USA), Randelson in the NRPS (now in the USA), Fire van de Heffinck in BWP (now in Austria), Ravel van Paemel in the AES. Mistral, grandson of Randel Z was "Future Stallion" in Zwolle and won the winter competition in the Netherlands.
